Viva Italia The Final Chapter: Capri/Sorrento again.

Someone has recently found my blog by searching:

london hotel hostel "communal showers" "no curtains"

Pretty sure I am not comfortable with this.

According to my last post we were now on our way to Capri. It is an Island. Beyonce and Jay Z hang out there. Also it has something to do with the invention/naming of Capri pants. Basically an ideal place to visit.

We drove from Furore back to Sorrento, left the car there and caught the ferry across to Capri.
It was super touristy but there were some cool things to see. We went on a boat tour around the island and saw the Blue Grotto which was real blue. We also saw heaps of people on their own private yachts/boats. Definitely gonna have one of those next time.

The best part was taking the chair lift to the top of the island:

Just casually flying over peoples backyards.

Which resulted in some pretty sweet views.

Also there was a lizard.

Going down was even better.

We stayed on the island for one night then headed back to Sorrento.
I'm guessing by this point that it must've been Saturday. When we got off the ferry the town was in the middle of La Passeggiata. Basically they shut off the piazza and the main street and everyone gets dressed up and walks leisurely up and down checking each other out and gossiping. It was pretty great. We joined in a bit after we dropped our bags at the B&B but clearly did not fit in.

Also there was a market and I saw DJ Tanner's phone.

We stayed one more night in Sorrento then it was Sunday/time to head back to reality day.
We made the trip up Vesuvius on the way to the airport. It was real cloudy/foggy I think and I was too lazy/had a sore ankle so didn't climb up to the top. I hear it was cool though.
